As an Integrative Health Practitioner and Health Coach who is passionate about body & mind, Daira specializes in finding the underlying root cause instead of merely covering up symptoms with medications. She is very much involved in educating her clients about the true power of food, balanced meal planning as well as teaching children and families how to shop, cook, and eat healthy on a budget.

With over 8 years of experience in nutrition and wellness, Daira specializes in customized planning that fits the individual needs of her clients, whether to reach weight/fat loss goals, optimize fitness performance, or simply adapt to healthier eating habits. Besides her formal education in Food Science and Nutrition, Daira spent time learning about the body on a much deeper level. She expanded her expertise and learned how the environment, stress, toxins, and hormones impact our health and aging process. What started as a curiosity became a fulfilling career of helping others explore health and longevity. The optimal approach is achieved by creating a balance between what is realistic and what is desired. Daira lives in Washington D.C. with her partner Steve, two cats Bruce and Claire, and dog Wilow. Besides Nutrition, she is passionate about the environment and devoted to the wellbeing of animals. In her free time, Daira enjoys meditation, reading, hiking, and playing basketball.
